While most rely on cholesterol
levels and treadmill stress tests to determine
heart disease, the Heart Center Cardiology
cardiologists recommend the EBT (Electron
Beam Tomography) test. This non-invasive,
two minute test allows experienced cardiologists
to determine not only if there is heart
disease present, but the extent of the heart
disease, allowing patients to take charge
of their heart health. Men and women of
all ages are welcome to have the test done,
though it is highly recommended for those
in their 40’s.
